Permanent Account Number (PAN) plays a very important role in human life as it is an identity verification of an individual, without this an individual cannot pay a tax. It includes 10 characters made up of alphabets and numbers. Indian Income Tax Department issue this PAN Card to serve as an important proof of identification. How to Apply for a New Pan Card?
It would take 15-20 days for the card to be issued. It can be available by two methods a) Online Method b) Offline Method
To apply for online, they want some proof like- Aadhaar Card, Address, Date of Birth and one scanned latest Passport size photo.
You have to fill some online details as required by the form, then applicants need to pay with his/her card through net banking, wallets, Debit Card, Credit Card etc. Fees for online is 110/
If a payment is successfully done then a receiver receives a signal of payment confirmation and they can print out the Print Form as shown on the screen.
On the printed form, an applicant should stick same passport size photo. Applicant should also sign at 3 specified places: 1st on the left-hand side of the photograph, 2nd on the space provided under the photograph and 3rd on the 2nd page of the photo.
After completing this printed form, the applicant should attach the copy of AADHAAR Card etc.
After completing this whole process an applicant should submit this in the near UTITSL office below at any one of regions for issuance his/her PAN Card.
